 Welcome to boarding at the Campbell River Veterinary Hospital! When you can't take your loved one with you, let us pamper them until your return.The climate-controlled facility is conveniently located within Campbell River. Our fully trained kennel attendants are dedicated to providing the attention and care your pet deserves. Dogs get a complimentary bath and cats receive a massaging brush out after a minimum three night stay! We supply food, dishes, bowls, and bedding, but any personal belongings to make their stay more comfortable are welcome. Want to keep two companions together? No problem! We know having a friend can make a new experience less worrisome, so we can accomodate up to two pets in the same kennel. You can even designate a friend to come by and take your dog for a walk! What a great way to add interest and variety to a dog's day! Just ask our helpful kennel staff about the details. Should your pet need ongoing medications, our certified Animal Health Technologists are in hospital to ensure they are administered, and veterinary care is available if your pet becomes ill. All pets in boarding need to be up to date with Rabies vaccine. We HIGHLY recommend dogs also be up to date with distemper, parvovirus, and bordetella vaccines and cats be up to date with distemper and leukemia vaccines.
